How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
Crackpenalty Roofing wants every homeowner who gets in touch to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page shows how to file a complaint and what to expect afterward. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
Topics You Can Raise
You are welcome to write to us about:
- Your experience when you phoned or contacted Crackpenalty Roofing
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a contractor we connected you with
If the Problem Is a Contractor
Contractors in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, prices, work, warranties and customer service. If you have a problem with work on your home, the usual first step is to take it up with the contractor directly and keep a written record.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps us keep the network honest, and contractors who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please keep in mind that Crackpenalty Roofing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a contractor's work or make decisions for a contractor.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@crackpenalty.living and include:
- Your name and the easiest way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the contractor
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The contractor's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for
After You Write
We acknowledge your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We then look into what happened, which may include contacting the contractor. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You can also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about licensed contractors, your state's contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
